Decatur County

The Decatur County Bridge Replacement project, completed in the summer of 2023, involved replacing the bridge on J 48 over a tributary to Grand River northwest of Decatur City, Iowa. The new 130′ x 24’6″ concrete slab bridge, designed on a 15-degree skew, stands as a testament to enhanced infrastructure and safety for the community.
