City of Des Moines

The City of Des Moines Bridge Rehabilitation project, located on 2nd Ave over Birdland Drive in Des Moines, Iowa, involved the replacement of a 124’6″ x 50′ continuous concrete slab, complete with an 11′ trail and 5′ sidewalk. The bridge was constructed in two stages to accommodate traffic lanes. Cunningham-Reis was a subcontractor to Jasper Construction during this project, which commenced in the summer of 2022 and was successfully completed by spring 2023, ensuring improved infrastructure for the community.
